By creating an account on The Roster, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't create an account. The Roster is operated by Gustas Maskoliūnas, based in Lithuania.
You must be at least 16 years old to use The Roster. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. There are two account types — coach and club — and you agree to sign up as the type that accurately reflects who you are. Creating a club account to browse anonymously as a coach, or vice versa, is a misuse of the service.
The Roster is a directory, availability board, and discussion forum for coaches, and a shortlisting tool for clubs. We do not vet, verify, employ, or represent any coach or club, and we are not a party to any hiring, contract, or agreement you enter into with someone you find through the platform. Admin flagging is a moderation signal based on user reports, not a background check or a guarantee of anyone's character or qualifications.
You're responsible for what you post — your profile, bio, CV text, and anything in the forum. By posting, you agree not to:
Forum threads are capped at 250 words when starting a new one; replies have no fixed limit but are still subject to the conduct rules above. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms, at our discretion.
Clubs may shortlist any publicly listed coach. Shortlisting is not a job offer and creates no obligation on either side. Clubs agree to use contact information obtained through the platform only for legitimate hiring-related outreach, not for unrelated marketing or resale.
We may flag a listing as a suspected scam based on user reports or our own review. A flag is a warning to other users, not a legal finding — we make reasonable efforts to investigate before flagging, but we can't guarantee every flag (or absence of one) is accurate. If you believe your listing was flagged in error, email us and we'll review it.
You keep ownership of what you post (your bio, CV text, forum posts, etc.). By posting it, you grant us a license to display it on the platform for as long as your account or that content remains active. The Roster's own branding, design, and code are our property and may not be copied or reused without permission.
The Roster is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee you'll be hired, find a coach, or that any information posted by other users is accurate. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure against every possible threat.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including disputes, agreements, or outcomes between coaches and clubs that we merely helped connect. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose (which is $0 for free-tier users).
You can stop using The Roster and request account deletion any time by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on severity.
These terms are governed by the laws of Lithuania. Any dispute not resolved informally will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Lithuanian courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under EU law in your country of residence.
We may update these terms as the product changes. We'll post the update here with a new "last updated" date, and for material changes, try to notify active users directly. Continuing to use The Roster after a change means you accept the updated terms.
